The Behavior, Information, and Technology in Early Feeding Study (B.I.T.E.S.)
This study explores the relationship between social media use, early infant feeding, and parental experiences of stress among families in the Triangle area. Through interviews, surveys, and other participatory methods, we hope to understand which social media platforms parents are using when they are seeking information about infant feeding. We are also interested in the effects of social media use on parental stress when it comes to feeding their babies. We are looking for parents between the ages of 25 and 45 with babies between 6 and 12 months of age who have started to eat other kinds of foods beyond breast milk or formula. You may participate in just one element of the study (e.g. survey) or all the elements of the study based on your preference. Participants are compensated for each element of the study that they participate in.
